First you need a CellCharge account and an iPhone.

2.09% + $0.15 Qualified transaction (debit & consumer credit cards)

3.79% + $0.15 Non-qualified (rewards & corporate credit cards)

That is $6.00 less a month and $0.04 less per transactions than what other companies are charging for the same exact service. Also, if for any reason your battery goes dead or you don’t have a signal, you can still call the transaction in from any touch tone phone through our toll-free number for the exact same price. Other companies charge an additional $0.75 on top of the percentage rate for each phone/voice authorization.

Next you need an app. There are many downloadable apps available at the Itunes store and range in price from free to $49.99. The two apps that we recommend are CCTerminal and ProcessAway, both are very user friendly and affordable.

However, ProcessAway ($19.99) offers you the ability to add a tip, which is perfect for anyone in the service industry. There are cheaper apps available, but those require you to enter the customer’s name and address, which can be very time consuming. We have used the ProcessAway app and know it works; you can even email receipts directly to your customer! So please check with us before purchasing another application so we can verify compatibility.

Keep in mind, you are offering your clients a convenience by allowing them to pay and tip at the same time. Studies clearly show that customers spend more money when paying with a credit card than they do with cash or checks, especially when it comes to tipping and impulse buys. Why limit your success to the amount of cash that is in your customer’s wallet? By accepting credit cards you can make more profit by selling more items more often.

To sign up for iPhone processing, just check the iPhone box on the online application. We will set up your CellCharge and Authorize.net accounts. Then once you have downloaded your preferred credit card processing application from the App Store, you will simply need to log into your Authorize.net account and obtain you API login ID and Transaction Key and enter it into your iPhone. You are now ready to start processing credit cards. It’s that easy.
